Vendor needs to provide twin screw extruder system supplies on an as needed basis to the government authority located in Hattiesburg, MS.
- Up to 40 kg/h to support scale-up process and commercialization
- Up to 450°C to support high temperature high performance thermal plastic matrix compounding,
such as poly ether sulfone, poly ether ketone, poly ether ether ketone and so on.
- Provide high shear, pumping, and a broad residence time processing window.
- The system must have a central computer control system to streamline operation.
- The system shall provide data acquisition and storage.
- The system shall have a safety interlock between the feeder and main extruder, barrel temperature, and motor.
- Must include safety features to provide high temperature warning and internal safety interlocks to prevent instrument damage.
