Government Authority located in Hattiesburg, Mississippi; USA based organization looking for expert vendor for academic catalog and curriculum management solution.
[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
Vendor needs to provide a complete end to end program/course development, approval workflow and building of a course catalog.
- The course catalog is built as a database, presented as a website and integrated into the university website. The products have integrations with Peoplesoft and synchronize data between the curriculum management and academic catalog management systems to keep curriculum data accurate in real-time.
- Hosted solution shall have in place a system recovery plan, including policies around nightly backups and restoration and recovery of data within 24 hours of an outage or request.
- The solution shall allow secure login leveraging LDAP, SAML, Active Directory or Shibboleth security integration and determine level of access via identified fields within LDAP.
- The solution shall allow for granular control of access to project data and workflows; including full access, limited access, and view only access; based on user department or function.
- System must provide logging of user management, administrative activity, and of user activity.
- If the code is doing any authentication, it must not use or provide default credentials.
- The cloud service must have implemented FedRAMP low baseline controls (though does not need to have Authorization To Operate).
-  The software must work with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions version 9.2, PUM18, PeopleTools 8.5.14 or greater.  The software must be deployed without destroying the history of data already located in PeopleSoft.
- All proposed systems shall allow data integration between systems
- Application Program Interface (API) information shall be made available to USM to allow possible in-house programming of data interchange to and from third party applications.
- The solution shall store and use a translation table to match the expected value from the academic catalog to Peoplesoft
- The solution shall allow attachment of files and documents to requests, including communications and other documentation.
- The software should provide manageability to include updating the catalog and workflow. Updates for the catalogs should occur in one place and that update should occur throughout the software. Basically, edit and update the catalog in one place and all other references reflect that update.
- The software must have editing capabilities for the university bulletins, course degree plans, and academic policies such as standards, suspensions, and withdrawals, which are considered contractual agreements between the University and students attending the University.
- This software must provide digital deliverables for the Registrar's Office to use, including an editable course catalog database with historical traceability, and course calendars.  
- The software must allow for a cross referencing experience, similar to Wikipedia. Cross references are considered hyperlinks in the text that once clicked, brings the user to more information about particular terminology.

Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
