[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
Vendor needs to provide e-rate core switch project service to the government authority located in Coldwater, MS.
- Replace the core switch assembly at the District Office with upgraded models that will prevent future bottlenecking for the entire district. The switches need to be stacked using stacking hardware (NOT VSF). Backplane speeds between switches shall be no less than 25Gbps.
- Replace the patch panels with flat panels. Existing connections may be reused.
- During the time of installation, the “A” frame patch panels will need to be replaced with flat patch panels. Existing RJ45 ports in the patch panels may be reused and wiring will not need to be remapped.
- During installation, existing fiber optic cabling shall be tested and repaired, if needed.
