[A] Budget: Looking for Proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide hosted higher education parking management software to manage parking at all campus locations.
- solution we seek to implement is not just another technology system, but rather an intuitive and user-friendly system that increases and enhances functional users’ efficiencies, productivity, capabilities, proactive and seamless interaction/initiatives, and successful parking outcomes
- Nupark/Passport system for parking management with permit management, enforcement using mobile LPR cameras, wait listing and appeals for all faculty, staff, and students.
- Hosted solution shall have in place a system recovery plan, including policies around nightly backups and restoration and recovery of data within 24 hours of an outage or request.
- System administrator can see all activity by user including last log in, reports opened and other non- data submission activities.
- The solution must provide a customer-centric data model that will allow the linking of multiple vehicles, permits, citations, addresses, booting/towing, event registrations, etc. to a single customer.
- The system shall allow the creation of a profile for each individual user. This profile shall specifically detail the access rights and security privileges as defined by the system administrator.
- The solution must provide ability for setting application lockout controls such as auto log-off and frequently changed passwords (local accounts).
- System shall be secure and use non-proprietary standards for network management and data encryption.
- The system shall have the ability to produce and accept encoded parking credentials.
- The system shall have the ability to apply event value to existing permits.
- The system shall allow users to configure specific permit ranges to be eligible for parking in specific parking facilities for specific days of the week and times of the day.
- Ability to prorate permit sales/returns and automatically calculate value based on user-defined rules
- Ability to track gate cards in conjunction with a permit or as a unique permit type.
- Ability to reset the permit fee for monthly billing.
- The system shall allow users to configure specific permit ranges to be eligible for parking in specific parking facilities for specific events.
- Ability to attach digital pictures or documents to the permit record.
- The parking system shall support user definable restrictions on permits assigned to properties.
- The system shall support a parking transaction simulator to test profile setup before deploying.
- The software shall provide the ability to e-mail the customer when the permit has shipped. An optional activation number shall be available if the parking department requires customers to activate their permit upon receipt.
- The solution must provide for tickets issued on-site to have a unique sequence number based on the handheld used.
- Web services shall allow for more than one citation to be appealed on the same appeal record.
(2) A meeting will be held on March 31, 2021.
(3) All questions must be submitted no later than March 30, 2021.
