Vendor needs to provide seafloor and oceanographic data acquisition and processing services to the government authority located in Mississippi.
- Secure acquisition and delivery of high resolution oceanographic, bathymetric, hydrographic, geophysical, and acoustic data and information in riverine, littoral, coastal and open ocean areas of interest.
- Efforts include acquisition, processing, and management of sensor data and derived products.
- Data Processing: Process and format acquired ocean environment data in order to assess data uncertainty and fit for purpose, enabling assimilation within numerical models and other geospatial products, and prepare for data archiving.
- Data Management: Archive datasets and maintain databases for oceanographic, bathymetric, hydrographic, geophysical, acoustic, and riverine data. Associated efforts include establishing efficient storage designs concepts and populating / maintaining database repositories of oceanographic data and products.
