(1) Vendor needs to provide transportation services to the government authority located in University, MS.   • Transportation services to be provided:• The successful respondent shall be responsible for operating supplemental transportation services for trips during the normal business week; Monday to Friday. the hours of operation will be between 9:00 am to 3:00 pm each day to provide supplemental transportation services outside of the normal responsibilities of out. times outside of the normal operating hours maybe also be considered. the service will require continuous, fixed routes with the ability to possibly add a point–to–point service at a later time.• In any event, supplemental transportation services shall be provided to all faculty, staff, students and visitors.• Vehicles:– The successful respondent shall provide and maintain vehicles in sufficient number and type to perform the services proposed. vehicles must be approved by the state to utilize public roads on public right of ways. vehicles may include but are not limited to golf cart trams, vans, or shuttles.– Respondent shall present a list of vehicles to be used in providing the aforementioned services, said list to be updated as needed during the term of the agreement. each list shall state if the vehicle is equipped for mobility aid accessibility or is non–accessible. each vehicle shall be covered by the respondent’s insurance policy.– Respondent shall provide evidence of an ongoing preventative maintenance program for said vehicles and shall report the progress of such program quarterly to um throughout the term of the contract.– Listed vehicles may be randomly inspected for safety, cleanliness, and serviceability by um at any time during the term of the agreement without prior announcement.– Vehicles shall have the option to offer um branding opportunities with approval and collaboration from the department of parking and transportation and the university marketing and communications department.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than June 3, 2024.
