(1) Vendor needs to provide safe streets and roads safety plan consulting services to the government authority located in Mississippi. • Analysis of existing conditions and historical trends to baseline the level of crashes involving fatalities and serious injuries across the University – Oxford safety action plan target area.• Analysis of the location(s) where there are crashes, the severity, as well as contributing factors and crash types• Analysis of systemic and specific safety needs performed, as needed e.g., high risk road features, specific safety needs of relevant road users.• A geospatial identification (geographic or locational data using maps) of higher risk locations• Considerations of equity using inclusive and representative processes.• The identification of underserved communities through data.• Equity analysis, in collaboration with appropriate partners, focused on initial equity impact assessments of the proposed projects and strategies, and population characteristics• Review and comment on existing transportation, safety and mobility methods, challenges, goals and objectives to strategize both short–term and long–term infrastructure improvements to promote safe walking, biking, and other first and last–mile solutions while reducing single occupancy vehicle (SOV) driving across campus and all the while improving the overall safety of all persons in the campus community.• Assessment of current policies, plans, guidelines, and standards to identify opportunities to improve how processes prioritize safety(2) All questions must be submitted no later than June 14, 2024.
