The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Research and Development Center (ERDC), Geotechnical and Structures Laboratory (GSL) intends to issue a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) sole source award to Dynatest US, Inc. (Cage: 8KM71 / UEI: M5M2CFCSJNN6) for the purchase of one (1) Heavy Weight Deflectometer (HWD).The ERDC–GSL Airfields and Pavements Branch (APB) needs to purchase one (1) HWD for structural pavement evaluations. The ERDC GSL APB currently utilizes Dynatest–based HWD`s to complete airfield pavement structural evaluations around the world. The new HWD must be trailer mounted and capable of generating 70,000 pounds of force while also allowing for the measurement and recording of an applied force to pavement surface and resulting deflections of pavement surface.
