The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Research and Development Center (ERDC), Geotechnical and Structures Laboratory (GSL) intends to issue a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) single source award to Asphalt Systems Ohio, Inc. (CAGE: 37TA4 / UEI: WXPJFU7C17M9) for the purchase of one (1) Biorestor Computerized Sprayer System for Asphalt Rejuvenators.The Airfields and Pavements Branch (APB) has been tasked by the US Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC) to evaluate asphalt pavement rejuvenation for agile combat employment operations. All pavements deteriorate over their designed service lives, requiring periodic maintenance activities to keep serviceability at satisfactory levels. AFCEC has previously used this spray system to apply rejuvenators in the field.
