(1) Vendor needs to provide fiscal agent transition services to the government authority located in Mississippi.– Conduct an initial assessment of the current fiscal agent services and operations.– Identify key challenges, risks, and opportunities associated with transitioning to in–house management.– Work with the executive director to develop a transition plan outlining detailed steps, timelines, and roles for transitioning fiscal agent services to in–house management.– Review, and align fiscal management policies and procedures with regulations and reporting requirements, supporting in–house management with examples and drafts as needed.– Assist board staff in developing onboarding and orientation materials for new fiscal staff.– Aid in the development of a job description and assist with interviewing potential candidates.– Provide advice and expertise on the selection of appropriate software and information technology.– Provide support and guidance on setting up the initial chart of accounts.– Provide assistance, guidance, conduct regular check–ins, and address implementation challenges for a seamless transition.(2) The contract period will be for one year.
