The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Research and Development Center (ERDC), Geotechnical and Structures Laboratory (GSL) intends to issue a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) single source award to Geospace Technologies Corporation (CAGE: 7X755 / UEI: M4M2UMNGAG33) for the purchase of FLAC Geotechnical Time Domain Finite Element software. Three (3) GS–ONE, 10 HZ geophones, one (1) Geospace Connetorless Recorder, and twelve (12) months of technical phone support. While the internal construction and workings of a geophone is consistent across different manufacturers, the geophones response from an input of signal can vary from manufacturers. It is important to acquire geophones with the exact same specifications and frequency responses to already those in–house. Geospace Technologies Corporation is the sole manufacturer and sole supplier in North America for this equipment.The award will be issued in accordance with FAR 13.106(b)(1)(i).
