The US Army Corps of Engineers, Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) Environmental Laboratory (EL) intends to issue an award on a sole source basis (IAW FAR 13.106–1(b)(1)) to Anton Paar USA, Inc., 10215 Timber Ridge Dr, Ashland, VA 23005–8135 for the preventative maintenance service of Novatouch LX4 instrumentation.Novatouch LX4 is used to rapidly identify sample surface area and pore size. This information is used for characterization and remediation to meet customer needs. This is a patented instrument and only a certified company capable of support, maintenance, or upgrades to ensure manufacturing specifications are maintained is required.
