[A] Budget: Looking for Proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide psychiatric consultant service to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities for our main campus and satellite Programs to the government authority located in Long Beach, MS.
a) Assessing, diagnosing, treating, and managing individuals with psychiatric conditions;
b) Review and approve screening for individuals with abnormal involuntary movements;
c) Providing SMRC with appropriate reports, dictations and clinic notes;
d) Provide emergency psychiatric care as needed (on call 24/7);
e) Review individuals on medication at least every other month;
f) Provide staff with training as requested;
g) Abiding by all SMRC Policies and Procedures, DMH Policies, and CMS Standards.
h) Must register online as a State Vendor. Go to www.mmrs.state.ms.us.
I) Completing psychiatric admission assessments within 72 hours after admission
j) Documenting the clinical status of the patient at least every other month in the form of a clinical progress note;
k) Signing verbal and telephone orders within 72 hours of giving the order;
I) Psychiatrist can anticipate spending up to 10 hours per month performing the aforementioned essential functions;
(2) All question must be submitted no later than January 13, 2020.
(3) Contract period will be for one year.
[C] Eligibility:
- Onshore (USA Only);
[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
