[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
Vendor needs to provide benthic habitat mapping services, on an as needed basis, related to natural resource restoration projects implemented to the government authority located in Jackson, MS.
• Survey and map three (3), ten (10) acre restoration sites and surrounding areas of benthic habitat, as depicted in Figure 1, utilizing swath bathymetry or similar technology that is capable of detecting oyster reef area (x,y) and volume (z). The total mapping area is approximately fifty-four (54) acres in size. Mapping will take place once per year, in the September-October timeframe for three (3) years.
• Develop high-resolution bathymetric grids for 3D volumetric analysis and seabottom contours for each data collection effort;
• Develop a GIS geodatabase of image mosaics over the mapping area for each data collection effort;
• Analyze changes in reef material dimension over time; and
• Develop geospatial polygons delineating and demonstrating change in spatial extent, dimensions, and area measurements of oyster reefsites and mapping area.
• A complete spatial coverage of bottom types in the project area in a GIS format;
• A geodatabase of bathymetry rasters;
• ISO compliant metadata records for collected data; and,
• Other products created by data collection (e.g., raw image files).

[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
