Vendor needs to provide pharmaceutical services to the government authority located in Gulfport, MS.– The Contractor shall provide an emergency and back–up system preferably an electronic dispense system for immediate medication dispensing to residents.– Contractor shall provide a proper and updated Medication Administration and Dispensing system and provide updates as required on the system.– The system shall provide an option to mark for automatic refills on prescriptions that qualify.– Contractor shall provide wound care supply as needed for residents.– Contractor shall have the expertise in conducting drug regimen reviews and offering therapeutic substitutions.– Contractor shall have a current formulary targeted specifically to the geriatric population.– Contractor shall perform regular, recurring medication reviews and medication administration observation at the facility.– Medication reviews and medication pass reviews shall be conducted at least monthly in accordance regulations.– Contractor shall provide all equipment necessary to operate the dispensing and documentation of medicationadministration.– All fees including technology fees, license fees, in–house drug dispensing unit fees if necessary shall be included in monthly billing.– Contractor shall provide in–service training to staff.– Training shall be coordinated through the designee, as needed, when determined by the Chief of Healthcare, Director of Nursing.– The Contractor shall have a licensed pharmacist to perform drug reviews and attend monthly Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee meetings as scheduled.
