Government Authority located in Jackson, Mississippi; USA based organization looking for expert vendor for investment manager services
[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide investment manager services to the government authority located in Jackson, MS.
- Assist with creating an investment strategy which primary objectives, in priority of order, shall be preservation and safety of principal, liquidity and yield.
- Assist with periodic cash flow analyses in order to ensure that the portfolios are positioned to provide sufficient liquidity.
- Actively manage JMAA’s portfolio including utilization of total returns (realized and unrealized gains and losses in the portfolio).
- Periodically review and revise the investment strategy while putting restrictions on asset categories and percentages based on market conditions, risk and diversification investment strategies.
- Notify the authority of any securities that have fallen below the minimum credit rating requirements.
- Coordinate with the financial advisory team in dealing with proceeds from debt issuance.
- Assist the authority and its external auditing firm to establish internal controls
- Periodically assist the authority in retaining a custodian of funds, including providing custodial service reviews and searches
- Attend meetings as required that are related to the investment program.
- Be available during regular business hours to respond to inquiries and provide contact information for calls and emails
- Comply with JMAA board approved “investment policy” as well as state of Mississippi and federal laws
(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than October 4, 2019.
[C] Eligibility:
Onshore (USA Only)
[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
